A Bitter Silver Lining

There is a silver lining behind every dark cloud, so too behind the current recession that has plagued the US and the world economy for the last 15 months or so. Firstly the inflated market assumptions stand to correct, which is a long term good. It has been a wake up call to the banking sector and hopefully management students would do case studies and ensure the failed assumptions in lending are never repeated again. The real estate cost would be once again reasonable and affordable to all sections of the society. The government having learnt a bitter lesson would not be complacent next time.
