Lessons Of Life! There is a silver lining behind every dark cloud, so too behind the current recession that has plagued the US and the world economy for the last 15 months or so. Firstly the inflated market assumptions stand to correct, which is a long term good. It has been a wake up call to the banking sector and hopefully management students would do case studies and ensure the failed assumptions in lending are never repeated again. The real estate cost would be once again reasonable and affordable to all sections of the society. The government having learnt a bitter lesson would not be complacent next time.

Lessons Of Life! World has become a very dangerous place to live with the terrorist able to strike with impunity at targets earmarked by them. What is the reason behind the terror strikes- hatred towards the enemy, dogmatic belief in religion, religious fundamentalism, chauvinist feelings, unemployment or state sponsored terrorism? End result is no city is anymore safe; the innocent civilians suffer trauma and irreparable loss of limbs, life and property. The law enforcing personnel pay very heavily with their life and or live with trauma anticipating fatal strike anytime, anywhere in the day. Will sanity ever return, to put us back in a civilized society?

Lessons Of Life! I once had a friend who was always chasing after money. Guess what was happening? Money would come and quickly disappear from his grip. This made him very upset and each day he would sit and morn and think of new strategies. When chasing after something so badly, it will never come to you easily. Leave it, and it will follow you since it knows your heart’s desire.

Lessons Of Life! The State of California requires that if you have a garden then it should be kept well or you will be fined. No matter how much prodding I do my husband will not move an inch to use the lawn mower on the over grown grass. When he got a letter from the department with a fine levied, he sure got working!!
